CAD Training courses are approved for Student Loan funding.

Course Costs: In addition to paying the course fees you will need a laptop computer, textbooks and stationery (including drawing instruments and drawing board) for your Level 3 Certificate in CAD Draughting course. CAD software is included within your course fee.

On receiving your enquiry we will provide details of computer, textbook, drawing and stationery requirements. CAD Training can provide drawing and stationery items discounted from normal retail prices. 

Student loans may be used to pay course fees, pay for course materials and provide you with an income while learning.

Students who are New Zealand citizens or Permanent Residents are eligible to apply for Student Loans and Allowances. Student fees are protected by the use of a Trust Account in accordance with the Education Act of 1980.

NOTE: From 1 January 2011, permanent residents and Australian citizens will be subject to a two-year stand-down before they can receive a Student Loan. This means that they will need to have lived in New Zealand for at least two years and be ordinarily resident in New Zealand. Permanent residents will also need to have held permanent residence for at least two years to qualify.

It is important that if you are applying for a Student Loan you first contact CAD Training before you proceed with your application - contact us either by calling on 0800 DRAWING (372 946) or email us using our online contact form.
It is very easy for errors to occur which can seriously delay payment of your fees and allowances.

After contacting us you can make your application at the nearest Study Link office, free-phone or you can apply online. You will need to produce Proof of Address (e.g. power bill, bank statement), I.R.D number (Inland Revenue Department) and Birth Certificate or Passport.
